MJH Tennis [Hidden image]
The Tennis Teams traveled to Waller Wednesday to take on the Bulldogs in a District competition.  Both teams whooped up on Waller by a combined score of 139-5.  Montgomery is now tied for FIRST PLACE in District.  We next take on rival Magnolia in 2 weeks in a tournament to be held at Magnolia West High School.  Congrats from Coach Jones on a dominating performance!
 
MJH Golf [Hidden image]
On Monday, your Bear and Lady Bear Gold golf team played in College Station.  The Lady Bears fought hard but placed just outside of the medals with 4th place team finish.
Your Bears played well and finished in a tie for 2nd.  Playing well for the Bears were Bryson Thurston, Jake Mead, Hunter Burns, Christian Franciscotty, Nick Lococo, Andrew Heber, Calan Johnson, Dylan Winders, Payne Coffee and Cooper Carlisle.
On Tuesday, Your golf team helped clean up Magnolia by sweeping the top spots in all three team division. 
Our 7th grade Bears not only won first place team honors, but also swept the top three individual medals.  Leading the way with the gold medal was Brayden Ingebrigtsen with a one under par score of 35, silver went to Raiden Adler, and the bronze medal was awarded to Jace Andrews.  Also playing well for the 7th grade team was William Cima and Jayden Massengale.
Hunter Bott lead the 8th grade team to their first place finish and place 2nd individually for the Bears.  Cade Walker, Terrin Anderson, Grant Brown and Casey Seale also played well for the Bears.
Ellie Hadley led the way for the Lady Bears first place team finish.  Ellie placed second individually with Ximena Flores a close 3rd. Also playing well for the Lady Bears was Megan Pistone, McKaylie Self and Evie Snowdy.

The Bears Boys and Girls Tennis Teams traveled to Magnolia Monday to compete against Bear Branch.  Both teams were victorious by winning by a score of 18-2.  Next week they travel to Waller to take on the Bulldogs.  Both teams are now 2 and 0 in District play!  Congrats on a fine performance. - Coach Jones


MJH Golf [Hidden image]

The Bears Golf Team traveled to Brenham on Monday where they continued their success on the golf course.  Your 7th grade Bear team won 1st place honors.  they were led to victory by Braydon Ingebrigtsen who won 1st place individually with a low score of 39. 

Our 8th grade Bears also brought home the gold.  They were led by Terrin Anderson 1st place individual medalist who shot an even par 36.

Our Lady Bears also continued their success on the course taking the 1st place honors.  The Lady Bears were led by the great play of McKaylie Self who placed 3rd individually.

Copy Room - We are looking for a few volunteers to work in the copy room.  No prior experience necessary - we will train you.  We have a morning shift from 0:730-11:00 and an afternoon shift from 11:00 - 2:30 every Monday through Thursday.  Even if you can only spare a few hours each month, it would be greatly appreciated.  Contact Michelle Brumley at michellembrumley@gmail.com for more information.

Spirit Wear Fire Sale - Thursday 4/16 and Friday 4/17, PTO Volunteers will be selling MJH T-Shirts as low as $5 each and MJH Hoodies for $10, during lunches.  What a deal... don't be left out.

 
8th Grade Dance - The 8 Grade Dance is May 29th.   A planning meeting will be held on Friday, May 1st 10am. Volunteers needed: decorating, food, chaperones, clean up and selling tickets.  If you are interested in helping, attending the meeting or need more information, please contact Stacie McBride at staciemcbride@gmail.com.

Montgomery Cotillion Legacy Members
