MJH Bookfair

MJH Incentive Dance

The Incentive Dance will be on Friday, April 26th from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The list of students who qualified was posted on Wednesday during lunches in the cafeteria. Students must pick up their ticket on Friday at lunch. Students must have a ticket to enter the dance. Dress code will apply. Pizza and drinks will also be served at the dance. For questions, contact Mrs. Jones in the Assistant Principals' office.

MJH PTO

PTO Meeting - Our final PTO meeting for the 2012-2013 year will take place on May 9th at 8:45. The 2013-2014 Executive Board and Committee Members are below. Thank you to everyone that served on a committee this year and that have signed on for the upcoming year! None of this would be possible without your help!
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon  - May 9th: Volunteers are needed to help decorate, serve and clean up for the Teacher/Staff luncheon that will be held after the PTO meeting from 10-12:30. Your help during that time would be appreciated. Please email Teresa Neel at mstneel@gmail.com if you are able to volunteer with the luncheon.

If you are interested in serving on our 2013-14 MJH PTO Board, please submit your interest to mjhsptonominations@yahoo.com by Tuesday, April 9th.  Below is a brief description of the positions that are available for the upcoming 2013-2014 school year.  Include your name, incoming grade, contact information and position desired.  Voting will take place at MJHS on Thursday, April 11 at 8:45 am at our monthly PTO meeting.  You will need to be present at this meeting to vote.  We hope you will join us.  Thanks in advance for your willingness to serve MJHS, and we hope to see you then.

Teacher Birthdays

It's time to celebrate Teacher Birthdays at MJH on Thursday, April 11th.  If you are able to send sweet treats of any kind to the school to help us with this PTO sponsored celebration, please send them to the front office by 9am on Thursday, April 11.  Thank you in advance!

7 on 7 Regional Tournament

Good luck this weekend to our 7 on 7 football teams at the Regional 7 on 7 Tournament held at The Woodlands High School on Saturday!  Go Bears!

MJH Bookfair

MARK Your Calendars... MJH will have ONE MORE book fair this year.  The theme is Story Labratory:  READioactive Reading!  The book fair will be held in the library during the week of April 14-19, 2013. If we sell 550 books during the week of the fair, students will be entered into a drawing to win a chance to SLIME a science teacher or (librarian) during their lunch period. The sliming will take place on the stage on May 10th.  We have 5 teachers willing to be slimed and the librarian, too!  Science experiments will be going on all week during the fair.

Montgomery Junior Belle Tryouts

Montgomery Junior Belle tryouts will take place April 29 – May 2.  A mandatory parent/candidate tryouts meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 17 at 5pm in the MJH gym.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Bess at sbess@misd.org
