MJH Volleyball
Last weekend the 8th grade Lady Bear Volleyball B team competed in our home round robin. The ladies had a successful weekend and dominated play against Willow Wood JH and New Caney Middle School. The ladies fought hard against McCullough but fell short. Great job on a 2nd place finish and good luck this Thursday against Tomball Junior High!
The 8th grade lady bears played Tomball last night. Both teams went to 3 games, but in the end both teams fell short. The girls fought hard and played their hearts out. When we play them again we will know how to stop them. Way to fight Lady Bears!!!

MJH FOOTBALL
The 8th grade Purple and Gold teams went head to head last night at Junior Bear Stadium. In the B team game, Quarterback Aiden Lynch scored the lone touchdown for the Purple team and then passed to Damien Davenport for the 1 point conversion. Jacob Mead connected with Adam Funderburg three times for long touchdowns and Marco Ramirez added a rushing touchdown and three P.A.T.'s to round out the scoring for the Gold. The final score was 30-7.
The A teams engaged in a defensive battle with the only touchdown coming from a Bailey Schneider pass to fullback, Luke Loera, for the Purple team. Zack Schubert added a P.A.T. to make the final score 8-0 over the Gold.
The Montgomery Bears 7th grade Purple and Gold teams faced off against each other on Monday, for their first district game of the year. The B teams played hard but the gold team ultimately prevailed winning 6 to 0. The A teams had an exciting game all the way through to the last play. When the clock ran out both teams had tied each other 12 to 12. Good job, keep working hard and good luck next week.
Congratulations to all the teams from all the coaches.
