8th Grade Volleyball
This weekend the 8th grade Lady Bear B team traveled to
Magnolia Jr High for the MJH B team volleyball tournament. The ladies
fell to Knox in the first game which was a tough battle until the very end.
The next two games were not the case - the Lady Bears beat down Brenham
Jr. High and then Schultz Jr. High to claim the Consolation championship.
What a great weekend of volleyball - congrats Lady Bears!

Taylor's Story
We are now sharing Part II of Taylor's Cancer Adventure. A nodule in Taylor's lung decided to grow from December 2013 to June of 2014. It was surgically removed and the results showed that it was indeed cancerous. Taylor will once again go through radiation and chemo. He was diagnosed with Wilms' Tumor Stage I anaplastic four years ago and is now categorized as Wilms' Tumor Stage 4 anaplastic. Anaplastic is the aggressive form of this cancer. His treatment plan is 36 weeks of chemo and about 10 sessions of radiation. Several of his treatments will be five days in a row and will involve inpatient treatments. Taylor is teaching us all with his strong will, good attitude and fearless determination. His reaction to the news was surprising; he was quiet for a bit and then said he was relieved the cancer was out and lets do this! Please support us with prayers, messages, and visits. Taylor is funny, outgoing, strong, athletic, caring, sympathetic, strong willed. He loves hunting, critters, fishing, baseball, football.
