NEON NIGHTS DANCE - PTO Fundraiser

***PTO Dance Committee Member Meeting on Monday, 10/26 at 8:45am***
  • Friday, October 30th 6:30pm-8:30pm 
  • Tickets $5 each sold during lunches
  • School dress code required
  • Neon/glow-in-the-dark fluid items WILL NOT BE ALLOWED.  LED only.
  • Available to purchase at the dance: Pizza - $2 ~     Candy .50 to $1 ~ Soft Drinks $1 ~ Neon Souvenirs $1 to $5 ~ Photo Booth Pictures $5
~Volunteers are needed for the Neon Nights Dance~
There is a need for volunteers each morning in car rider drop off to help with the Drink Drive wil continue next week Monday 10/26 - Friday 10/30.

Montgomery Junior High Drink Drive
The Drink Drive wil continue next week Monday 10/26 - Friday 10/30.  Drinks can be dropped off in car rider line in the mornings.  If you would like to drop them off during the day, please take them to the front office.
Items to bring: Case of Water ~ 12 pack of Coke ~ 12 pack of Diet Coke ~ 12 pack of Sprite ~ 12 pack of Dr. Pepper ~ 12 pack of Root-beer

On Thursday, the MJH Cross Country Teams competed at the District Championships hosted by Montgomery Junior High.  The results are:
7th Grade Girls - 5th Place
7th Grade Boys - 4th Place
8th Grade Girls - 2nd Place
8th Grade Boys - 1st Place
MJH Athletes that received medals for the superior performances are: Sam Matchett, Cory Acreman, Austin Parker, Ashley Miller, Anna Denbigh, John Spikerman, Jacob Falb, Rays Whitmore, Mia Degitz, Hailea Poff, Karla Balli, Hannah Parker, Nikki Brousard, J.T. Johnston, Cassie Lewis, Kate Hilty, Wesley Spell, Logan Olivero, Zach Russell and Kaylee Galindo.  Congratulations from Coach Jones, Inman and Holcomb on a fantastic season!  Go Bears!

The Montgomery Bears 7th grade Purple and Gold teams faced off in a epic show down last night.  The "B" teams fought hard all night in a defensive battle with only one touchdown being scored.  The Gold team won 6 to 0.  The "A" teams were up next and both teams played hard.  Once again, it was a defensive battle with only one touchdown being the difference.  The gold team won 13 to 6.  The coaches appreciate your hard work and determination.  Great job and good luck next week!

The 7th grade lady bear volleyball team traveled to Magnolia last night. The Bears brought home a clean sweep of 3 wins! The white team started the night winning 25-14 and 28-26. Players of the game: KK Morris and Sheridan Bautista. 
The purple team went to three games with the scores of 16-25, 25-14, and 15-5! Players of the game: Mackenzie Logeman and Jenny Robinson.  The gold team finished off the night winning 25-18 and 25-23. Players of the game: Madison Chappell and Demi Krikorian. Our last season game is next Thursday at 4, 5, and 6 o clock here at the junior high! Coach Sturdivant, Pav, and Wallace are so proud of how much each of you have improved as players this season! Keep up the hard work! 

8th Grade Lady Bears Volleyball.  The White team started the winning sweep with the scores of 26-24 and 25-15. Outstanding players were Nicole Moore, Marisa Raley, and Ellie Hadley.
Purple team kept the winning streak rolling keeping the Lady Mustangs in the single digits with the scores of 25-9 and 25-8. Outstanding players were Meagan Pistone and Bailey Ellis.
Gold team ended the sweep with the impressive score of 25-6 and 25-17. Outstanding players were Jena McMullen and Ainsley Ingebrigsten.
Way to go Lady Bears! The girls did an unbelievable job and Coach Inman, Heard, and Reynolds are very proud of every single player. Come support the Lady Bears next week at home for their last game of the season. Games times are 4, 5, and 6.
