The Volunteer Services and Authorization for Criminal History Background Information forms may be found on the misd.org website under the Parent Information tab. If you have children on multiple campuses, you are only required to complete the form once per year. Completed forms may be turned in to the front office on any campus.

Last weekend the 7th grade Purple volleyball team finished second in their tournament at Bear Branch Junior High. The team played York Junior High and Bear Branch Junior High for their first two matches and pulled out two close wins. Coach Pavloske said that the girls fought all the way until the end and never gave up. This is a very competitive team full of heart and hustle. The Purple team played McCullough Junior High in the championship game and lost, but once again fought for every point. We are very proud of this team and look forward to a great rest of the season! Last night the 7th grade Lady Bears traveled to Brabham. The White team started the night off winning their first game 25-19. The ladies fought hard and played tough but ultimately lost the next two games by one point. The Purple team built on their previous success to win 25-12 and 25-22. The played great defense and hustled every play. To finish the night, the Gold team brought home a win: 25-10 and 25-7. The ladies had powerful serves, blocks, and spikes. Coach Sturdivant, Wallace, and Pav are so proud of each team. What a great way to start the season! MJH 8th grade Lady Bears Volleyball The 8th grade Lady Bears Purple team traveled to the Bear Branch Tournament Saturday. The Lady Bears faced York JH first beating them in two games. The girls fought hard and set the pace for the tournament. Next, they faced Bear Branch JH. The Lady Bears lost the first game but came back to win the next two with ease clinching their spot in the Championship game. The girls fought hard against McCullough but unfortunately fell short against the Lady Highlanders. The Lady Bears did such an amazing job all day and received 2nd place in their first tournament together! The girls showed outstanding teamwork and drive throughout the long, exhausting day. Every single member of the team gave 110% out on the court. Coach Heard is so proud of the entire team and can't wait to see what this season has in store for the 8th grade Purple team. Way to go Lady Bears! Yesterday the 8th grade Lady Bears volleyball traveled to Brabham to face the Lady Bobcats. White team started the night out with a nail biter. The girls came out with a win their first game with the score of 25-21, but then took a turn in the second game losing 14-25. The Lady Bears found their inner strength and pulled it out in game three winning 15-11. Outstanding players were Audrey Teers, Kaitlyn Koteras, and Taylor Vidal. 8th grade Lady Bears volleyball traveled to Brabham yesterday to face the Lady Bobcats.Purple team kept the winning streak rolling winning the first game 25-17. The girlsgot in a groove and dominated the Lady Bobcats 25-9 with awesome teamwork and skill. Outstanding players were Meagan Pistone, Mikenna Bageard, and Bailey Ellis. Gold team clinched the sweep against Brabham in two. The girls won their first game 25-13 and the second 25-16. Every single girl showed incredible hustle and amazing skill. Outstanding players were Allie Williams, Bailey Duncan, Cami Roberts. Coach Inman, Coach Heard, and Coach Reynolds are beyond proud of all three teams and can't wait to see what else this season has in store for the 8th grade Lady Bears. Way to go, girls! On Wednesday night the MJH Cross Country Teams traveled to College Station for their second meet of the year. Here are the results:
